I finished the first draft at 6:00 in the morning ,today! It took so long time because I've never written over 1200 words before.
In the process of writing the essay, I thought a lot about human rights for the intellectual disabled. Although lots of the intellectual disabled live in a institution for all of their lives, is it good for them? To be sure, in the institution, it is safety and they can live with colleague and the helper. However, do the intellectual disabled determine to stay in the institution by themselves? I think it can be helped for them to do that. Thus, their decisions in various things are limited. If society accept the rights for the intellectual disabled same as others and sopport them, they could live by themselves just like everyone else.

"I am Sam"
Hello!
This is first blog for me.
On Monday, I saw a mouvie "I am Sam" as a source for the essay. Although I've seen it before, the mouvie made me think deeply. Through this mouvie, I thought the right of the mental challenged. Society don't give opportunities to marry, raise a child, and work for the mental challenged. People often easily recognize that the mental challenged cannot do that in viased thinking. In the mouvie, there are mainly a father and his daughter. He cannot be allowed to raise her because the father's mentality is same as a seven-year-old child. However, what is needed for raising a child? Intelligence? Academic background? Money? I think love for a child is the most important in rasing a child.
